REFEST is an international project co-financed by Creative Europe Programme that involves cultural organizations from 4 different countries: Urban (Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina) organizer of Balkan Photo Festival, Organ Vida (Zagreb, Croatia) organizer of Organ Vida-International Photography Festival, Foundation Montemadrid (Madrid, Spain) organizer of Festivalito de Villaverde and Passaggi Cultura (Fano, Italy) organizer of Passaggi Cultura.
REFEST aims to tell and document, through photography, visual arts and poetry, the stories and routes of refugees.
REFEST project consists of an itinerant Artists-in-Residence programme in which a group of artists will have to investigate the phenomenon of refugees using art. The work produced will be then displayed in all four European festivals.
We are looking for photographers, interested and motivated in the co-creation of new works and we are happy to announce that our calls are open. Call is open only for photographers from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
